Adidas Originals to open a temporary Samba Café in Paris with Pharrell Williams
Undoubtedly, the most anticipated star of this men's fashion week in Paris is artist and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams, who will hold his first runway show as the creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear. A teaser image featuring Rihanna was unveiled on Thursday, but the entire industry is eager to see the unique touch Pharrell will bring to the world's most influential luxury house. This significant challenge, however, does not deter the multi-talented artist. In addition to his Louis Vuitton commitments, Pharrell is organizing the "Just Phriends" exhibition with Sarah Andelman for the artist's auction house called Joopiter. Furthermore, he will be collaborating with Adidas Originals on their Samba Café project.
Having a longstanding partnership with the German brand through his Humanrace label, Pharrell Williams will contribute to the creation of this temporary installation. From June 22 to 24, Adidas Originals will take over The Broken Arm concept store located at 12 Rue Perrée, in the trendy Marais district of Paris.
At the Samba Café, Adidas Originals will showcase the Samba Humanrace model in three different colorways, accompanied by a series of engaging activities throughout the fashion week.
The ultimate question remains: Will Pharrell be spotted wearing one of the coveted Samba sneakers as he takes his bow after the Louis Vuitton show on Tuesday evening? Only time will tell.
